I have black ones with white stitching and they look awesome.
My only small grip is that the aluminium bits are still a bit sharp. I used my dremel to just smooth the edge a tiny bit.
The product I’ve been searching for. The craftsmanship and textiles are amazing, all from my little island state, Tasmania. The only negative is I now can’t leave home without it so I need another for my wife’s car.

I recently bought the Kohutt’s quilted dog mat for my sixteen-month-old border collie. She has immediately taken to it. I am equally happy, as the mat is of good quality, sturdy, comfortable and well made. I find that the large size has the right dimensions for a border collie, though I imagine it would accommodate a larger dog as well. In her enthusiasm my dog has given it her blessing by immediately chewing a small hole in it (nothing is 100% dog proof, I’m afraid, and “dogs will be dogs”). The quilted sewing pattern and design of the mat is such however that any small hole or tear will generally not spread but remain “localized” and is then easily patched up. Therefore, contrary to most other designs, a small hole in the fabric will not necessarily affect the strength or the usefulness of the mat as a whole - and happily my dog has since mended her ways.
I particularly like that the mat is strong but lightweight, and therefore easily picked up and placed in any part of the house where I want my dog to settle and find her own comfortable little corner. Importantly, it fits nicely on the backseat of my vehicle, where it not only helps to protect that backseat but also provides a cozy spot that my dog is immediately familiar with and where she is then happy to lie down and stay (properly secured with a clip to a safety belt obviously).
Once again, a well thought out, well designed and well-made product. If I’m giving it four out of five stars, it is only because it is (of course) not indestructible by a serious chewer. Having said that, I can certainly recommend this item if you are looking for a versatile, lightweight but durable mat for your dog!

Quality build, felt like Christmas receiving my goodies in the mail. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.
Works well and is exactly as advertised I took it camping, slid in it a shallow - self inflating air mattress, sleeping bag and woollen blanket for two nights; one of which was -1 degree. It was just as warm if not warmer than my full swag and packs up to about 1/8 the size, with all those extras.
Works as an oilskin, If you were in heavy rain you would probably want to put a canvas over the top of it, but for intermittent light rain and dew it was fine by itself. I am a taller fellow so I probably could have done with it being about 20cm longer.
Soft, strong leather and impeccable quality in the workmanship - this camera strap is the ideal length for street photography and is exactly what I've been looking for for years now. And what a pleasant surprise to discover them in my own backyard of Tasmania!
